Where the words come from...


blog (noun): a Web site on which an individual or group of users produces an ongoing narrative [a shortened form of "Weblog", meaning a log (diary or regular record) on the Web]

to blog (verb): to update and add new material to a blog (blogged, blogging)

blogger (noun): a person who blogs

log (noun): (also logbook) an official record of events during the voyage of a ship or aircraft; a regular or systematic record of incidents or observations
